The Dolt That'll Make Milwaukee's 12th District Famous

That's Peggy West, pride of the 12th District.
Peggy West was elected 12th District Supervisor in 2004 and, after being reelected in 2008, is serving her second term representing 50,000 residents on Milwaukee's south side. She currently serves as 2nd Vice-Chair on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Supervisor West also has the unique distinction of being the first Latino/Hispanic American to be elected to the Milwaukee County Board.

Supervisor West grew up in Milwaukee and graduated with a degree in Human Services from the Milwaukee Area Technical College. Prior to her election to the Board, Supervisor West worked for 10 years in the human service field.
You go ahead, Peggy, and push for Milwaukee County to boycott Arizona. We, on the other hand, will be certain to to keep our money out of Milwaukee. SummerFest, the Mitchell Domes, Miller Park, and many of Milwaukee's other venues don't need my family's patronage, and I stopped buying Miller's beers in September of 2006. It won't be much money that Milwaukee will be out due to my choice to spend elsewhere, but since Milwaukee County is so cash-strapped that they have instituted furlough days, every little bit surely would have counted. And you know, Peggy, the thing that will make my boycott of Milwaukee much more effective that your boycott of Arizona is that, unlike you, I know the location of the place that I intend to boycott.

Thanks, Peggy, for helping to re-affirm the wisdom of my decision to leave Milwaukee seventeen years ago.

Cut her some slack, Jack. It ain't easy for anyone to remember where all of the 57 states are.

She said that she just mispoke. She has oceanfront vacation property there so she knows where Arizona is. ;-)
