Flash Grenades Found At Reagan National

This wasn't heavily covered in most of the MSM, but there were two flash grenades found in a men's bathroom at Reagan National Airport on the morning of Friday, 30 March 2007.

At 10:15 a.m. a cleaning crew found a couple of flash "grenade" devices in a trash can in a men's bathroom at Reagan National Airport. the devices did not explode, only found in a trash can.

An EOD unit from Fort McNair responded, and cleared the incident at about 11:15 a.m.
Flash grenades are generally used to distract or disorientate, or to provide a tactical diversion. Now, who would want such devices at a major airport that is less than five miles from downtown D.C.?
