This is not my usual sort of post, but I'm just really excited.
My daughter will receive the Eucharist for the first time on Sunday! She is excited, and I am excited for her.

Funny story from that day: Her Grandfather was teasing her a bit, and told her that he hoped that she didn't get drunk from the wine.
She looked him straight in the eye and, without missing a beat, she said, "Of course not, Grandpa. That was the Blood of Christ."
