Top Obama adviser Prof. Charles Ogletree says 21st-century white America, as a general rule, remains racist towards Blacks, Latinos, and Asians, and racism is likely to persist for decades -- Barack Obama is an exception only because "he happens to be biracial," so that his election will not be proof that whites have moved beyond racism.Interesting, isn't it, that the people who keep bringing up race are the people on Obama's side of the political aisle?
So there you have it from an Ivy League professor: Obama has a shot at this thing only because his mother was white. If Ogletree is right, though, then McCain should just need to point out that he is all white in order to get the mindless racists in "White America" to elect him in a landslide. It's B.S., of course, but without racial tension and a perpetuated sense of victimhood amongst minorities, the political left would lose the majority of their power since there would be no poor, downtrodden group left to save.
