Tolerant Islam

The residents of the Kampung Pulo neighborhood of Jakarta, Indonesia aren't pleased that students at the Arastamar Evangelical School of Theology are praying and singing hymns. So, in the spirit of tolerance that seems to be so often displayed by the followers of Mohammedism, they attacked the Christian school.

Hundreds of Christian theology students have been living in tents since a mob of angry Muslim neighbors stormed their campus last month wielding bamboo spears and hurling Molotov cocktails. [...]

The assault began around midnight [on 25 July 2008], when students woke to the crash of stones falling on their dormitory roof as a voice over a loudspeaker at a nearby mosque cried "Allah Akbar," or "God is great" in Arabic.

The unidentified speaker urged residents to rise up against their "unwanted neighbors," said Sairin, the head of campus security, who goes by a single name.
I think that it may be time to start responding in kind towards Muslims who act in this manner, with all due similar tolerance and understanding of course.

If throwing stones is tolerant, hmmmm....makes me wonder what the appropriate tolerant Catholic Response would be in this situation....

Personally, I think we need consider establishing modern-day knightly orders to protect Christian people and property. I'm sure it wouldn't be popular, but considering the un-answered assaults on Christians around the world, it may end-up being the only alternative.

I have been intending to write something further on such a topic, but I have yet to find the time between work and family.

Glad to have you still visiting, Joe!
